Saša Zdjelar (Serbian Cyrillic: Саша Здјелар; born March 20, 1995) is a Serbian footballer who currently plays for Superleague Greece club Olympiacos, as a Midfielder.

Career

On 8 September 2013, Zdjelar signed a 5 years' contract with Greek giants Olympiakos for an undisclosed fee.[5] He stayed with his former team for the 2013-2014 & 2014-2015 seasons before move to Olympiacos in 2015.

In mid December 2015, Zdjelar believes that he is still in the plans of Olympiakos's manager Marco Silva. "Olympiakos told me that I am not for loan, because my manager wants me to stay, so I don't know anything about Red Star's interest. I want to fight for my place in the team at least until summer, so far I have not played in many matches but I am still young. There are players of top level in my position, like Cambiasso, Milivojevic and Kasami and I try to learn things from them in trainings. I am happy to be in the same squad with them and not afraid of the competition. Cambiasso is 36-year-old but he is always the first in training and still plays with the same enthusiasm", said the 20-year-old Zdjelar.[6]

On 23 January 2016, he made his debut with the club in Super League 1-0 home game against Skoda Xanthi. On 2 February along with Jimmy Durmaz replaced Alfred Finnbogason and Giannis Maniatis, who left Olympiakos in January, in UEFA Europa League list ahead of matches against RSC Anderlecht.[7]
