Scott Swan is an American filmmaker and screenwriter best identified for his work with director John Carpenter.

Biography

Scott Swan was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1970. He is the co-screenwriter of director John Carpenter's Masters of Horror episodes. Cigarette Burns and Pro-Life were produced as part of the Masters series for Showtime.

He has been writing with Drew McWeeny since the two met in high school. Their plays Sticks & Stones and Broken Bones were first produced in Los Angeles in the mid 90's. They recently penned "Skin & Bones", an episode for the NBC horror/suspense anthology television series Fear Itself (TV series).

Swan's most recent work is the Big Junior series. Swan calls Big Junior a filth noir about a psychotic escaped mental patient with a Lee Marvin fetish who comes to LA to do a drug deal.[1]
