Severino Yunier González (born September 28, 1992) is a Panamanian professional baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Career

González signed with the Philadelphia Phillies as an international free agent in April 2011.[1]

Playing for the Reading Fightin Phils in 2013, González had a 2.00 earned run average with 119 strikeouts over ​103 23 innings pitched. After the season he won the Paul Owens Award as the Phillies Minor League Pitcher of the Year.[2][3][4]

González made his major league debut on April 28, 2015, against the St. Louis Cardinals.[5][6]
