"Sexy Mama" is a song by Nigerian recording artist Iyanya. It was officially released on February 6, 2013 as the fifth single from his second studio album Desire (2013). It debuted at number one on MTV Base's Official Naija Top 10 Chart from July 26, 2013 through August 2, 2013.[2] It also debuted at No.2 on Afro-Hits' August 2013 Afrobreakers Chart.[3] The song, produced by D'Tunes, features Wizkid.[4]
Music video
The music video for the single was shot in South Africa and directed by Sesan. It features a cameo appearance from Made Man Music Group's first lady, Emma Nyra.[5]
Accolades
The music video for "Sexy Mama" was nominated for "Best Use of Visual Effects" at the 2013 Nigeria Music Video Awards (NMVA).[6]
