Tainan metropolitan area
From Infogalactic: the planetary knowledge core
According to the definition of metropolitan areas formerly used by the Republic of China government in Taiwan, Tainan metropolitan area (Chinese: 臺南都會區; pinyin: Táinán Dūhuì Qū) includes the following areas:
Tainan City (core city) | Kaohsiung City | |
---|---|---|
However, since the merger of Tainan City and the former Tainan County, the Republic of China (Taiwan) government has abolished the definition as obsolete.[1]
