State Highway 238 or SH 238 is a state highway running from Port Lavaca south to Seadrift. The route was designated by 1938 from Port Lavaca to Inez. By 1939, it extended to Seadrift, replacing a portion of SH 27, and included an extension northwest to Inez. In 1941, he section north of Port Lavaca was cancelled.
