The 1956 United States presidential election in North Carolina took place on November 6, 1956, as part of the 1956 United States presidential election. North Carolina voters chose fourteen[2] representatives, or electors, to the Electoral College, who voted for President and Vice President.

North Carolina was won by Adlai Stevenson (DIllinois), running with Senator Estes Kefauver, with 50.66% of the popular vote against incumbent President Dwight D. Eisenhower (RKansas), running with Vice President Richard Nixon, with 49.34% of the popular vote.[3][4]
