There has to be an easier way to fix all those Wikipedia links

Are they all of the form en.wikipedia.com/wiki/blah_blah? If so, we could do this via the database or a PHP cleanup script.

Pretty much. --Idris (talk) 21:05, 20 October 2016 (UTC)

Western Civilization has been scrubbed from Wikipedia. Can you find it again like you found Cultural Marxism? Notice the page now redirects to Western Culture, where we learn that "Western culture, sometimes equated with Western civilization... is a term used very broadly ... having both indigenous and foreign origin." Rectified (talk) 03:59, 23 October 2016 (UTC)

Addendum. "For this article's equivalent (Western Culture) regarding the East, see Eastern culture". Eastern Culture redirects to something called Eastern World. The first section of that article is https://infogalactic.com/info/Eastern_world#Identity_politics Rectified (talk) 04:18, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
Aside from a brief period in 2007, there was never really a separate "Western civilization" article:
And that 2007 episode involved someone copying and pasting the "Western culture" entry; that's probably not what you have in mind. However, if you want it, then you can copy it from this link.
There's a Western world article. Is that what you were looking for? --Idris (talk)
Thank you, Idris. (OT. I looked at the archive.org of Wikipeida dumps that you provided. There are gaps of years, then the archiving starts up monthly in 2015.) Yes, saw Western World, never heard the term before. The pre-SJW term is 'Western Civilization', which is why I brought this up. Both Eastern World and Western World are quite the rabbit holes to compare and contrast. I'm off doing other things now- in kinematics, Pi = 4 Rectified (talk) 13:56, 23 October 2016 (UTC)

Moving dicussion

Hi, I decided to move Whitebeard's discussion to the Galactic tribunal so it won't keep cluttering up this talk page and other administrators can chime in.--Tears of Ovid (talk) 19:10, 31 January 2017 (UTC)

"Gender identity" categories

Hi, good work on the categories, I'm thinking eventually we should probably merge all of the 'alternative gender identities' into one category, and only have categories for sexuality or gender identities which have some degree of scientific or medical backing (e.x. homosexual, bisexual, transsexual); everything else should eventually probably just be lumped into one category rather than given the impression of relevance in science and medical fields.--Tears of Ovid (talk) 16:07, 1 February 2017 (UTC)

Hmmm, while it might be useful to collapse them that way, here does need to be a list of all the myriad terms that are used. --Crew (talk) 22:38, 1 February 2017 (UTC)
How about having the list inside the collapsed page? --Kaggelkooltjie (talk) 04:19, 29 July 2021 (UTC)

You're not just a sysop!

You're also a KW baron. Jean Valjean (talk) 18:00, 10 May 2017 (UTC)

Hmmm, what is a KW baron? -- Crew (talk) 23:49, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
It's a tier of the KingsWiki administrative hierarchy. --Idris (talk) 16:08, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
